Fast Rescue Boat
Course Description
This Fast Rescue Boats (FRB)course covers the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies prescribed in Section A-VI/2, Table A-VI/2-2 of the STCW Code. This course requires a total of twenty-eight (28) instructional hours to cover the topics.
Entry to the course is open to all trainees who have completed the Basic Training (BT).
Entry to the course is open to all trainees who have completed the Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boat (SCRB).They must be medically fit to enable them to participate in all aspects of the training particularly the practical exercises (Medical Certificate- PEME format).
