Medical First Aid
Course Description
This Medical First Aid (MEFA) course covers the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies prescribed in Section A-VI/4, Table A-VI/4-1 of STCW Code. This requires a total of thirty-two (32) instructional hours to cover the topics.
Entry to the course is open to all trainees who have completed the Basic Training (BT).
They must be medically fit to enable them to participate in all aspects of the training particularly the practical exercises (Medical Certificate- PEME format).
