Consolidated MARPOL I to VI
Course Description
The program content is based on the provisions of MARPOL 73/78 Annex I-VI –Regulation for the Prevention of Pollution. It is designed to meet the requirements set forth in STCW’78 as amended Regulation II/1 Function 3 and III/1 Function 4 “Controlling the operation of the ship and care for persons onboard at the operational and management level”.
It is assumed that those attending this program will be designated as candidates for certification, both as deck officers and engine officers with responsibilities in the implementation of MARPOL 73/78 regulations and Environmental Policies onboard.
