Marine Electrical Systems
Course Description
This 5 –day course is designed to bridge gaps between textbook electrical theory and the practical skills and knowledge required to deal with shipboard electrical systems, and comply with the competencies of the STCW Electro-Technical Officer as stated in Regulation III/2 of the STCW 1978 as amended (STCW Manila Convention).
The trainee should have a formal marine engineering background and previous courses in physics, chemistry, electricity, and mathematics.
