This 3-day course provides training in cargo handling and care of cargo of dry cargo ships of any tonnage, particularly on loading and discharging, stowage, segregation, ventilation and general safety precautions. It also discusses goods in packaged form and dry cargoes in bulk, including dangerous substances and related cargo-handling gear equipment.
