This 3-day course will provide participants with sufficient knowledge in chart correction, updating and correcting nautical publications and chart management. The course also covers the requirements of STCW code of specification of minimum standard of competence for Officer-in-Charge of Navigational Watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more (Table a II/1), Masters and Mates on ships of 5000gross tonnage or more (Table A –II/2), and Officers-in-charge of Navigational Watch and for Masters on ships of less than 500 gross tonnage (Table A II/3).
