Crude Oil Washing and Inert Gas Systems (COW-IGS) Simulator
Course Description
This 2-day course covers the basic operation procedure of COW-IGS on tankers and includes practical exercises on the inert gas system and crude oil washing operations using the CHT 2000 (Cargo Handling Simulator). It covers the minimum requirements prescribed in Section V/1 of the STCW Code for masters, officers and ratings on tankers.
