The course satisfies the requirement of Section A-VI/2 under the Mandatory Minimum Requirements for the Issue of Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft, Rescue Boats and Fast Rescue Boats of the STCW Code as amended as amended. It will provide participants with the Free fall lifeboat familiarization and the knowledge, skills and confidence to board, safely launch, and operate the Free Fall Lifeboat during emergencies, using the systems and procedures required for such craft.
