This is a 5-day course which uses theory sessions on principles of ship handling and maneuvering followed by practical exercises with real-life scenarios in the ship bridge simulator. The participants are trained to understand the different forces under direct control, indirect control and forces not under control, which affect handling and maneuvering of ships. To give the participants an in-depth understanding on the importance of Ship Handling and to enhance the Knowledge and Skills covering every aspects of Vessel’s Maneuverability. t meets the mandatory minimum requirements laid out in the STCW 2010Regulations II/1 and II/2 for the function, “Navigation at the Operational and Management Levels”, respectively.
