This 3-day course is a refresher program on safe working practices onboard ships. It provides experienced shipboard personnel with opportunities to look at safety in different perspectives through various exercises, case studies, discussions and other activities. Specifically covered in this course are such topics as safe working environment on different types of vessels, deck safety operations and maintenance, engine safety operation and maintenance, and catering machinery.
