Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
Course Description
This Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties course covers the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies prescribed in Section A-VI/6, Table A-VI/6-1 and Table A-VI/6-2 of the STCW Code. This requires a total of eight (8) hours instructional hours to cover the topics.
Entry to the course is open to all trainees who are medically fit (valid on PEME format) to enable them to participate in all aspects of the training particularly the practical exercises.
